Ebert Fest 2009

 On Thursday April 23, 2009, Trouble the Water debuted on US television. Thank you HBO for bringing this film into so millions of homes! During the premiere, Trouble the Water also screened at Roger Ebert's film festival in a sold-out show at the immaculately restored 1600-seat Virginia Theater in Champaign, Illinois. Thank you Roger for selecting Trouble the Water in this group of remarkable films by Guy Madden (My Winnipeg), Ramin Bahrani (Chop Shop), Coutrney Hunt (Frozen River), and so many other filmmakers whose work we so  admire!
